Công nghệ Nano (Nanotechnology) là việc sử dụng vật chất ở quy mô nguyên tử, phân tử và siêu phân tử cho các mục đích công nghiệp. Hay có thể hiểu đơn giản là sự phân tích, điều khiển và chế tạo các vật chất bằng cách đưa nó về hình dạng và kích thước từ 1 đến 100 nanomet. Công nghệ Nano chỉ mới thực sự phát triển và phổ biến rộng rãi từ khi cuộc cách mạng 4.0 bắt đầu. Tính đến hiện tại, nó đã góp một phần không nhỏ đến việc phục vụ con người. Điển hình là khâu sản xuất các mặt hàng thủy tinh, gốm, sứ… đều có sự góp mặt của công nghệ này. Công nghệ Nano hiện được coi là ngành công nghệ hàng đầu về khoa học - kĩ thuật trên thế giới và hứa hẹn sẽ ngày một phát triển trong tương lai. Để hiểu rõ hơn Cục Thông tin khoa học và công nghệ quốc gia xin giới thiệu một số bài nghiên cứu đã được xuất bản chính thức và các bài viết được chấp nhận đăng trên những cơ sở dữ liệu học thuật chính thống.
